PUP was one of the original charter members of the PLAINS DRIFTERS, till his death in 2004.

He was a licenced rider for A.H.D.R.A. (All Harley Drag Racing Association and put passion into every
thing he set out to do in his life. He was also a certified HARLEY DAVIDSON mechanic after spending time
at M.M.I. Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Arizona.

After his death the club decided to make up a Memorial Run dedicated to what he loved the most,,
motorcycles. Each year the run has gotten bigger and better.
The proceeds ( 100% ) that are collected for this run are put into a fund that helps people interested in
becoming a certified Harley mechanic, and help in paying a student's cost in attending the school.
